Xbox 360 graphics vs. Wii graphics

So, in my spare time, I wanted to compare Xbox 360 graphics to Wii graphics, using the new game, The Amazing Spider-Man. :D

Xbox 360

The Wii U

Finally, Nintendo is throwing out the original 480p Wii console and resurrecting with a 1080p Wii U console (with literally better graphics than the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3)! On this post, we will go over the Tech Specs, Features AND Wii U games.

   

     The console is 1.8 inches high, .5 inches higher than the original Wii. It weighs 3.41 pounds, much heaver than the original Wii, which weighs 2.65 pounds. It has an IBM Power based multi-core processor, an AMB Radeon-based High Defenition GPU, with both Internal Storage, with SD card storage and External USB Storage, and supports 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p, and 480i video graphics. It comes with an HDMI cable , Wii-D terminal cable, Wii RBG, Wii S-video and stereo AV and Wii AV cables. It comes with a 6 channel HDMI sound connector cable and supports an Analog output via the AV multi-out processor. 

  

      The unique Wii U touch screen controller "removes the traditional barrier between you and the game", as Iwata stated, "and by creating a new door to the game world". It has a control pad, L\R buttons, L\R stick buttons, A/B/X/Y buttons, L/R buttons, ZL/ZR buttons, a power button, negative and positive select buttons, and a motion control sensor, meaning an internal gyroscope and geomagnetic sensor, and an LCD touch screen

     Now, lets go over the features:
   Like Xbox Live and Playstation Network, The Wii U has it's own online gaming network known as Miiverse. As the Official Wii U website stated, "Miiverse is a brand-new network communication system that lets gamers from around the world share experiences, discuss games and discover new content. Using their personalized Mii character, players enter Miiverse and see games, applications or entertainment content that either they have interacted with recently, expressed interest in learning more about or that their friends are using or discussing. From here they can challenge their friends to play together, ask a question about a difficult level or discover new elements of their favorite games they never knew existed. After a notable achievement or other share-worthy moment, players can pause their game or application and seamlessly post messages to the Miiverse community."
    The unique Wii U controller can also be used as a TV remote, playing a game or watching Tv. Near Field Communication gives the controllers a unique ability to wirelessly communicate with objects held above the screen. Nintendo E-shop is just like the original E-shop from the original Wii, but this time, you can download DLC content and select games that are sold in retail stores. Nintendo is also working with Youtube, Hulu plus, Netflix and Amazon Instant Video, to bring you the latest shows in HD. A microphone in the controller allows video chatting, no headsets or earbuds. An internet browser is also built in so you can stream the internet while laying lazily on the couch. 
    

The Wii U is also getting a huge 1-up with their games, with Aliens: Colonial Marines, Darksiders 2, Assassin's Creed 3, Mass Effect 3, Batman Arkham City Armored Edition, Scribblenauts Unlimited, and the one Korichi is looking foward to, ZombiU. ZombiU caught my eye because of the beautiful gameplay and graphics, as released in E3, as seen above. I would not recommend the trailer for any viewers under 10, for the gore and violence. It also surprises me that Nintendo would show that at E3. So that's my summary of the New Wii U, releasing this Holiday, whats your thoughts?

    

New Black Ops game!

   A new Black Ops game is going to be released this Holiday, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, as leaked in E3 2012. It will Include Special Ops Campaign mixed in with An amazing hand-held Multiplayer experience, exclusively tailored for the PS Vita.

MW3 collection 2 OUT

Activision just released collection 2 for MW3. It comes with

• 3 new multiplayer maps, currently for xbox
• 2 new Special Ops Missions, currently for xbox
• 2 new Face Ops, currently for xbox

ALL the multiplayer maps all look really fun and exiting, but this screenshot really stuck out:

The official cover for WWE '13 was released on Monday Night Raw! Not only does it have CM Punk on the cover, but it has a mysterious, "Attidude Era" sticker on the front. Notch, the creator of Minecraft, has just released a Minecraft Legoset! It is not specifically a Lego BRAND, It is made by JINX, a company that designs Lego sets for small companies.
