First movie Godzilla ever starred in...

Gojira was the first movie Godzilla starred in,in 1954,by Japan's Toho company.

Godzilla was a huge success, with another Movie in making by Legendary Pictures, which is coming out in 2012.Godzilla is said to have been created by the Nagasaki and Hiroshima nuclear explosion. The name,Gojira is made up of two Japanese words, Gorira and kujira, meaning Gorilla and Whale. Godzilla has the neck and forearms of an Iguanodon, the Head and lower body of a Tyrannosaurus, the skin texture of a Crocodile, and a triple row of dorsal plates similar to a Stegosaurus. Godzilla's roar always remained the same except for changing pitch. Occasionally Godzilla's body and facial structure changed from film to film.Godzilla has a unique power to breathe a powerful line of fire, but in Godzilla,King of the Monsters,When he blew fire to the power lines, it was similar to freezing them.Godzilla's amazing size is caused by being exposed to radiation due to attacking Japan at the beginning of the Atomic age.The last movie Godzilla starred in was Godzilla: Final Wars, which was in 2004.
